Depression is not sadness

But it Is the first phase of madness.

When the mind is in disturbia,

It yearns crazily for darkness.

In its obscure state,

Light tends to become its torture.

Depression though can be confused for Sadness,

Even Prolonged Sadness can be swept away at the glimpse of Joy.

But for depression, Joy escalates the torture.

The mind becomes a state where cream never ever becomes white!

Depression though is deceitful.

Its famous deceitful expression is a smile as you can never see through it.

A smile which flows only from the left cheek to the right.

An empty smile of darkness.

A smile full only of lost hope!
